Typically, your dentist may advise you on the sort of night guard you require. The sort of protection you should buy is determined by how much grinding you do.
The soft guard is designed for individuals who grind their teeth light to moderately or clench their teeth at night. It's constructed of a supple, flexible rubbery material that acts as a cushion between your teeth. The thickness of the soft night guard is around 1.5mm.
The hybrid night guard is designed for moderate to heavy grinders. It features a hard outer layer for durability and a soft inner layer for a comfortable fit and is roughly 2mm thick. This guard has been considered by many customers to be the ideal blend of comfort and durability.
People who grind or clench their teeth during the day will benefit from the ultrathin daytime guard. It's light and unobtrusive (approximately 1mm thick). The ultrathin guard is suitable for individuals who grind or clench their teeth lightly at night as well.
The easiest way to find out is to speak directly with your dentist. Heavy grinders, in most situations, have significant symptoms and are aware that they grind heavily. If your dentist has told you that you grind your teeth but you were unaware of it, you are most likely a moderate grinder who might benefit from a hybrid night guard.
The upper guard is the most common option. Because some customers prefer to wear one over the other, we provide an option of upper or lower guard.
The upper guard is preferred by the vast majority of consumers (over 90%). The upper guard is preferred by most consumers since it does not obstruct their tongue as much as the lower guard. If you like the fit or if you've had dental surgery done (e.g. crowns, implants) and your dentist suggests a lower guard, you can go with it.
In order to prevent your teeth from grinding, you usually just need an upper or lower guard. The night guard serves as an excellent protective barrier since it lies between your upper and lower teeth. Unless your dentist advises differently, just one guard is required.
The length of time a night guard lasts is mostly determined by how hard you grind. Night guards might last from six months to many years. A one-year warranty is included with all of our night guards.
Please notify us if the night guard cracks or breaks due to normal wear and tear while in use and within the warranty term. We will replace it free of charge. To be eligible for a replacement under the guarantee, the cracked or broken night guard must be returned.
What are the materials used to make the night guards?
We utilize the same materials as the night guards we make for dentists because we're a professional dental lab that serves dentists.
A durable acrylic outer layer and a vinyl soft inner layer combine to create the hybrid night guard. Soft vinyl is used to make the soft night guard. All of the materials are FDA-approved and originate from reputable dental vendors.
